2-Bedroom Chalet
Tamboershoek Karoo Farm Stay near Beaufort-Wes offers a Chalet that sleeps four and looks out over vast, untouched landscapes. It has two en-suite bedrooms (1 X king size and 2 X singles) and an open-plan living space with a fridge/freezer, indoor fireplace, and fully kitted kitchen. Outside, a braai area and veranda set the scene for long, quiet evenings under open skies.
Power comes from the sun, with Wi-Fi available if needed—but don’t expect distractions. This is a place to switch off. A wood-fired kolkol hot tub (ready from June) adds to the experience after a long day outdoors.
Getting here is part of the adventure. The farm lies at the end of dirt roads best suited to high-clearance vehicles (no 4x4 required). Multiple routes lead in—each with its own character—and the roads are a favourite among long-distance adventure riders.
Days are yours to roam. Walk, cycle, or simply disappear into the veld. Wildlife includes blesbok, springbok, blue wildebeest, gemsbok, kudu, and many more.
No crowds. No noise. Just space, silence, and the raw Karoo.
